The CRAI Alghero Half Marathon is one of Sardinia's most picturesque and eagerly anticipated running events, now in its eighth edition. Organized by ASD Alghero Marathon under the auspices of FIDAL, the event combines competitive sport with the promotion of the local area, attracting professional athletes and running enthusiasts from all over Italy and abroad.

The beating heart of the event is Scalo Tarantiello, set against the splendid backdrop of Alghero's port, which will serve as the start and finish area for all distances. The flat and fast course is ideal for those seeking a personal best. The route winds along the Alghero coastline, running alongside the famous ramparts and the beaches of the Riviera del Corallo, offering participants breathtaking views of the sea and the promontory of Capo Caccia.

The event stands out for its high level of inclusivity, offering five different options suitable for every level of fitness:

  • Competitive 21.097 km and 10 km: FIDAL-certified routes dedicated to registered members.
  • Non-competitive 21 km and MEDEA 10 km: non-competitive options ideal for non-registered participants and fitwalking enthusiasts.
  • 5 km Family Run: a recreational, non-competitive walk open to families, children, and anyone who wants to enjoy an open-air day of celebration, sport, and solidarity.
