Within the context of the City&City Festival, author Annino Mele presents the volume The Bandit and the Saint. The meeting, which will be held at the Library of Santa Maria di Betlem, will delve into the personal experiences of Mele, an emblematic figure of post-war Sardinian banditry, through a dialogue with Pier Luigi Piredda.

The City&City Festival is organizing the presentation of the book The Bandit and the Saint. Contos de vivos e mortos - Stories of the living and the dead, a work written by Annino Mele and Karl-Peter Schwarz and published by L’Isola dei libri.

The event will take place Tuesday, September 29 at 6:30 PM at the Franciscan Library of Santa Maria di Betlem. During the meeting, the author will engage in a dialogue with Pier Luigi Piredda to explore the stories collected in the volume, focusing on the life of Annino Mele, a former fugitive and prisoner who became a writer.
