The Bagella workshop is celebrating ten years of its scarf line with the presentation of the 2026–27 collection. The event will take place on Thursday, October 15, at 8 p.m., at the workshop at 20 Corso Vittorio Emanuele II in Sassari. Born from the meeting of fashion, design and visual arts, the project has over the years explored Sardinian culture through the island’s artworks and traditions.

New designs and archive motifs

The collection’s new designs are by Silva Cardin, who created two paintings inspired by the traditional dress of Samugheo, which were then translated into scarf designs. Alongside the new pieces, some designs from previous collections will be brought back in a limited-edition reissue. These include Sandro Forbice’s synthesis of the Desulo costume and Paolo Curreli’s interpretation of a work by Costantino Nivola.

The line began with a capsule collection created with Caterina Satta, based on images of her paintings. Over the years, it has expanded to include reinterpretations of works by Giuseppe Biasi, Edina Altara and Eugenio Tavolara, as well as references to traditional costumes and Sardinian textile art. The return of the archive designs showcases creations already part of the line’s history, reimagining them as accessories to wear and treasure.

The evening

The presentation will be introduced by Gianmario Demartis. A wine tasting from the Podere 45 winery will follow, rounding off an event devoted to the dialogue between creativity, memory and Sardinian tradition.
