The music of the Sonos de Manos returns live to Sassari. Saturday 22 August 2026 at 9 p.m., the group will headline a concert at The Cube in piazzale Segni, bringing back to the stage some of the songs that shaped the modern evolution of Sassari folk.

The evening will focus on the repertoire developed through the band’s four albums released between the 1990s and the early 2000s: A mè figlioru from 1996, Bora Bora from 1997, Puru noi from 1998 and Aisettende from 2002.

There are 34 songs in all, telling the story of Sassari through irony, everyday life, feelings and the local language, reinterpreted today by Pietro Sanna together with Nicola Deriu and Domenico Frisciano.

An event for those who have always known the songs of Sonos de Manos, as well as for anyone who wants to rediscover an important chapter in contemporary Sassari folk music.
