The video of X Factor Italia featuring Mad-Dog performing David Bowie’s Rebel Rebel, the song they performed on stage on the evening of Thursday, November 5, is now available on YouTube. The performance helped the band from Sassari advance to the fourth Live show of X Factor 2026, as they made it through the televote without having to face the sing-off.
For anyone who missed the episode or wants to listen again to the four musicians from Sassari’s performance, the clip offers a chance to see the group take on Bowie’s repertoire.

The performance was part of Jukebox Night, an evening dedicated to great songs from the Sixties and Seventies. For Mad-Dog, competing on Paola Iezzi’s team, the occasion was a chance to explore a different image and attitude from the ones they had shown in the opening weeks.
Renato Marchisio, Davide Dore, Luca Pintus and Jacopo Sale took on a glam rock classic, earning the audience’s support and a chance to continue their journey on the talent show.
A new look for the band from Sassari
The change was also a focus of the judges’ comments. Irama highlighted the group’s transformation, while Paola Iezzi explained that she wanted to bring out a more sensual and rebellious stage presence, in keeping with the song they had chosen.
Their Bowie performance adds a new chapter to Mad-Dog’s journey: after the third Live show, the band from Sassari remains in the competition.
