No goals, but chances and decisive saves at the Adriatico. The highlights of Pescara-Torres 0-0 look back at Saturday’s match on October 31, part of the twelfth round of Serie C Group B.
The team coached by Alfonso Greco returns from Abruzzo with a point, earned through the team’s resilience and the saves of Andrea Zaccagno, who was especially influential in the second half.
Zaccagno makes the difference, with chances for Torres too
Pescara find the net through Ferraris in the first half, but the goal is ruled out for offside. Torres respond with Bunino, who tests Fiorillo, and a chance for Masala, who is beaten to the ball in front of goal.
After the break, the Rossoblù come under increasing pressure: D’Ausilio hits the post and Zaccagno keeps out the home side’s attempts, including a great chance for Motta. The score remains 0-0 at the end of a hard-fought match.
