From Thursday 20 August 2026 the new campaign for ATP student passes 2026/2027 begins in Sassari, with heavily subsidised fares thanks to funding from the Sardinia Region. The discounts apply to students under 28 and vary according to family ISEE.
How much does an ATP student pass cost
For students under 28 with an ISEE of €25,500 or less, the reduction is 80%. The fares are therefore:
- €35 for the ATP annual pass;
- €4.20 for the ATP monthly pass;
- €10 for the integrated monthly wider-area pass.
The annual pass will be valid from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 and may be purchased by 31 December 2026.
Fares with an ISEE above €25,500
Students under 28 with an ISEE above €25,500, or those who do not qualify for the maximum subsidy, are entitled to a 60% discount.
In this case, the prices are:
- €70 for the annual pass;
- €8.40 for the monthly pass;
- €20 for the integrated monthly wider-area pass.
The Region also provides an 80% subsidy, regardless of ISEE, starting with the third student child in families with at least three student children belonging to the same household.
Students aged 28 to 35: how much they pay
Those aged between 28 and under 36 may continue to purchase student passes, but without the additional regional reductions linked to ISEE.
The fares are €175 for the annual pass, €21 for the monthly pass and €50 for the integrated monthly wider-area pass.
University students: 1,500 annual passes for €10
There is also a particularly attractive subsidy for university students in Sassari.
ERSU Sassari and ATP have renewed the agreement providing 1,500 annual passes at a cost of just €10. The initiative is intended for students officially enrolled at the University of Sassari, AFAM institutions and the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences, with an ISEE of no more than €25,500 and subject to the age limit established by regional legislation.
The passes will be valid from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027. ERSU will contribute €25 for each pass, while the student will pay the €10 share directly to ATP.
How to purchase the passes
For the 2026/2027 campaign, ATP has prepared dedicated documentation for students aged 18 and over and minors. During the purchase procedure, the student's tax code and completion of the relevant self-certification are required.
Integrated monthly wider-area passes are available exclusively through the ATP Sassari App, while the purchasing methods indicated by the company in the pass campaign remain available for the other passes.
Cheaper transport for students in Sassari
With the launch of the 2026/2027 campaign, the main subsidies that have significantly reduced the cost of public transport for students in Sassari in recent years are therefore confirmed.
For those in the lowest ISEE bracket, €35 allows travel for an entire year on the ATP network, while for some university students the cost can fall even further, to €10 per year thanks to the agreement with ERSU.
The fares indicated refer to the ATP student campaign for the 2026/2027 school and academic year. Before purchasing, it is advisable to check for any updates directly through the official ATP Sassari channels.
