Tickets are already sold out for the show by Baz, the stage name of Marco Bazzoni, scheduled for Saturday, November 7 at Teatro Verdi in Sassari. The evening, titled “Outsider” Limited Edition, is designed to celebrate the artist’s 25 years in the business with a special version of his new show.
For the Sassari date, Bazzoni will perform a format created especially for audiences in his hometown. The show combines the comic framework of “Outsider” with more personal and intimate passages, looking back on a career that has spanned several areas of entertainment.
The new show tackles contemporary clichés and contradictions, with references to social media and the excesses of racism. In this limited edition, the comic core is joined by improvisation, memories and forays into the signature routines that have accompanied Baz over the years.
The evening will also feature new surprises and moments devoted to the artist’s experience in radio, television, musical theatre and stand-up comedy. According to the show’s presentation, the narrative moves between laughter, music and emotion, returning to the theme of the outsider: feeling out of place and choosing to take part anyway, even when the odds seem stacked against you.
The Verdi performance is part of Frequenze, a series bringing together psychology, science communication, theatre, comedy and music. The project, founded in Sassari, aims to connect different forms of expression and communities and to establish a cultural hub with a regional reach.
The series is set to gradually expand to Alghero, Cagliari and the rest of Sardinia. Its approach brings tradition into dialogue with contemporary culture and seeks to highlight the distinctive qualities of local areas through a shared network for cultural production and engagement.
The event is organized by ARC Suoni Diversi in collaboration with Shining Production, Roble Factory and Audere. For audiences, the details are November 7 and Teatro Verdi in Sassari: tickets are sold out.
