The Dinamo Sassari claims its first home win of the season: the game at the PalaSerradimigni ends 80-70 against Sella Cento, in the fourth round of the 2026/27 Serie A2 season. On Saturday, October 17, Luca Vitali’s Biancoblù pick up their third league win, their second in a row after the one in Mestre.

A win built in the first half, put in doubt by the Emiliani’s comeback and defended in the final quarter, with Alessandro Grande playing a key role in the decisive possessions. Banco thus bounces back from its home slip-up against Montecatini and builds on its win on Gemini Mestre’s court.

Dinamo pulls away: 47-32 at halftime

Sassari closes the first quarter at 24-20, getting important points from Riccardo Pisano too, who is back in action alongside Michele Vitali.

Banco takes control in the second quarter. Grande and Sean Flood fuel the offense, while Vitali makes an immediate impact on his return, helping the team pull away before halftime.

23-12 in the second quarter sends the teams to the locker rooms at 47-32: a 15-point lead that seems to put the home side in control of the game.

Cento fight back, Flood and Nobili respond

The second half, however, changes the complexion of the game. Cento open the third quarter with an 11-0 run, while the Dinamo struggle to find the basket.

The visitors gradually erase the entire deficit: Moretti completes the comeback to make it 54-54, wiping out Sassari’s lead.

At the most difficult moment, two valuable responses arrive. First Flood, then Nobili hit from beyond the arc and give Banco some breathing room. The third quarter ends 60-54, with the Dinamo still ahead despite being outscored 22-13 in the period.

Grande decides the finish; Rimini are next

In the final quarter, Sassari pull away again. Grande drains the three-pointer to make it 66-56 and, when Cento try to stay in the game, he also hits the shot that makes it 76-65 with just over three minutes left on the clock.

Nze grabs an important offensive rebound and finds Aromando for 78-67; Riismaa then takes Banco to 80. Piccirilli’s final three-pointer sets the score at 80-70, with the Biancoblù winning the fourth quarter 20-16.

The Dinamo move to three wins in four rounds, following road victories against Urania Milano and Mestre and a defeat to Montecatini. Their next game is just around the corner: on Wednesday, October 21 at 8:30 p.m., Dole Basket Rimini will visit the PalaSerradimigni.
