The Dinamo Banco di Sardegna are ready to return to the court. After beginning preparations in Sassari, the club has officially announced the schedule for the 2026/27 preseason, which will lead the Giants into the new Serie A2 season.

The schedule includes a first test in Lombardy followed by a real tour of Sardinia, with games in Sassari, Alghero, Cagliari, Oristano and Olbia.

Debut in Vigevano on August 29

The first game of the season for the team coached by Luca Vitali is scheduled for Saturday, August 29.

At 8:30 p.m., at the PalaElachem in Vigevano, Dinamo will face the home side in the Trofeo Rotary Lomellina. Vigevano will also be one of the Biancoblu's opponents during the upcoming Serie A2 season.

Dinamo will be presented in Sassari on September 4

The first event in front of the Sassari crowd will take place on Friday, September 4, at the PalaSerradimigni.

Before the game, the new roster will be presented to the fans, then at 8:30 p.m. the friendly against Virtus Zagreb, formerly known as Cedevita Junior Zagreb, will begin.

The two teams will meet again just two days later: on Sunday, September 6, at 8:30 p.m., the first Coppa Ciutat de l'Alguer will be played at the PalaManchia in Alghero, as part of the Settembre Cestistico Algherese program.

Cagliari and Oristano to host games against Brindisi

The preseason will continue on September 10 in Cagliari, where the PalaPirastu will host the first edition of the Sardinia Cup.

At 8:30 p.m., Dinamo will face Valtur Brindisi, a team the Sassari side will also meet during the Serie A2 season.

The matchup will be repeated on Saturday, September 12, this time at the Palasport Sa Rodia in Oristano, with tip-off at 8 p.m. for the first Trofeo Città di Oristano.

The final test in Olbia

Preparations will conclude on Friday, September 18, in Olbia.

At 3 p.m. the Giants will face Fulgor Omegna, a team competing in Serie B Nazionale. At the time of the announcement, the exact venue for the game had not yet been decided.

A tour of Sardinia before Serie A2

The schedule confirms Dinamo's desire to maintain close ties not only with Sassari, but with the whole island.

The team began training on August 11 between the PalaSerradimigni and the Tonino Siddi dei Pini Stadium. After the six friendlies, attention will turn to the league: the 2026/27 Serie A2 season opener is scheduled for September 27 away against Urania Milano, while the first home game will come on October 4 against Gema Montecatini.

For the new Dinamo led by coach Luca Vitali, the preseason will therefore be the first real test ahead of the start of a season that marks a new chapter in the Biancoblu's history.
