The Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari return to the PalaSerradimigni with a clear goal: build on their win in Mestre and claim their first home victory of the season. On Saturday 17 October 2026, at 8:30 p.m., the Blue-and-Whites host Sella Cento on Matchday 4 of Serie A2.
The game will be available to watch streaming on LNP Pass, with a subscription. On court, meanwhile, Luca Vitali’s team will be looking to build on the progress they showed in their last away game.
Dinamo’s form: two wins and a lesson to remember
The record after the first three games stands at two wins and one defeat. Sassari opened the season with a 68-70 win away to Urania Milano, then lost 72-81 to Montecatini in their first game in front of their home fans. The 74-87 win over Gemini Mestre gave Banco fresh momentum.
At the Taliercio, there were encouraging signs, particularly in how the offensive responsibility was shared: five players scored in double figures, with Joonas Riismaa scoring 19, Simone Aromando 17 and Alessandro Monaldi 15. The return of Jeff Brooks, who scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, added presence in the paint and experience in crucial possessions.
Dinamo are improving, but are still searching for consistency. Against Mestre, they were able to withstand their opponents’ comeback attempts and close out the game with composure. The defeat to Montecatini, on the other hand, had shown the cost of a slow start: 47 points conceded in the first twenty minutes and a comeback that fell short.
Cento regain confidence, but have to reckon with Davis
Sella also come into the game on the back of a win: their 98-88 victory over Vigevano on 11 October, their first success after two defeats. The Red-and-Whites were led by Stacy Davis, with 37 points, and Avery Woodson, with 25.
The visitors’ situation is, however, affected by Davis’s injury. According to a report published on 13 October by Quotidiano Sportivo, the captain is due to undergo surgery on his thumb and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks. His anticipated absence could significantly alter Cento’s balance.
For Sassari, the key will be to bring the greater solidity they showed in Mestre onto their home court: start with intensity, control the rebounds and stay alert to the opposing guards’ moves. A first win at the PalaSerradimigni would give the Blue-and-Whites’ revival further momentum.
