Torres officially begin their 2026-27 season away from Sassari. On Sunday, 16 August at 6:00 pm, the Rossoblù will face Spezia at the Alberto Picco Stadium in the first knockout round of the Coppa Italia Serie C.

For supporters unable to make the trip to Liguria, however, there is some bad news: Spezia-Torres will not be broadcast live on TV.

Spezia-Torres will not be shown on Sky or NOW

Sky, which holds the broadcasting rights for Serie C, has selected only three matches to show during the first round of the Coppa Italia Serie C.

The selected fixtures are:

  • Vado-Inter U23
  • Salernitana-Scafatese
  • Bari-Casarano

Spezia-Torres is therefore not part of the TV schedule and, as a result, will not be available to stream on NOW either.

The only way to watch the match in full will therefore be to attend it in person at the Alberto Picco Stadium in La Spezia.

How to follow Spezia-Torres

Supporters remaining in Sardinia will still be able to follow the match through live text commentary and real-time updates provided by sports media outlets and channels dedicated to the two clubs.

Kick-off is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Sunday, 16 August.

The match will provide the first genuine test for Alfonso Greco's new-look Torres side following several weeks of pre-season preparation.

The Torres head coach has already made clear the approach his team will take to Liguria.

Despite a squad that is still being completed and several absences in defence, Greco wants to see a competitive Torres side determined to fight for a place in the next round.

The match against Spezia will also provide an opportunity to assess how far the team has progressed after a pre-season campaign without facing opponents from the same division.

There will be no live TV coverage, then, for Torres' first competitive match of the season.
