The day of the Torres’ first official match of 2026–2027 has arrived.

Today, Sunday, August 16, Alfonso Greco’s Rossoblù take on Spezia at the Alberto Picco stadium in the first qualifying round of the Coppa Italia Serie C.

Kick-off is set for 6 p.m..

Spezia-Torres will not be broadcast on TV

There is bad news, however, for fans still in Sardinia: Spezia-Torres will not be broadcast live on Sky.

The Serie C League has in fact selected only three first-round matches for television coverage: Vado-Inter U23, Salernitana-Scafatese and Bari-Casarano.

Torres’ match is therefore not included in the schedule and will not be available to stream on NOW either.

To follow the progress of the match, fans will have to rely on the live text coverage provided by sports publications and updates published during the game.

Greco’s Torres face their first real test

The match at the Picco represents the new Torres’ first official test.

Alfonso Greco has already made the team’s approach to the trip to Liguria clear: “We’re not going there for a stroll”.

Despite a squad that is still being completed and some problems in defence, the aim is to fight for a place in the next round and assess on the pitch the level reached after the summer preparations.

Among those unavailable is Mattia Scaringi, who is still recovering from a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot.
