The Torres are adding experience to the right flank. The Rossoblù club has officially announced the arrival of Francesco Corsinelli, a right-sided player born in 1997 who joins from Ravenna.

The player arrives in Sassari on a permanent transfer and has signed a two-year contract with the Rossoblù club.

Who is Francesco Corsinelli

Corsinelli is a player accustomed to Serie C, the division in which he has built much of his career.

Originally a midfielder, over the years he has established himself primarily as a right-sided wing-back, a role in which he can contribute both offensively and defensively. Before his spell with Ravenna, he had worn, among others, the shirts of Pontedera, Feralpisalò, Bari, Lucchese and Gubbio.

Ravenna had signed him in the summer of 2025 from Gubbio, already highlighting his experience gained in Serie B and Serie C.

A new option on the Torres flank

Corsinelli’s arrival gives Alfonso Greco an experienced and versatile option on the right flank, as Torres continues to complete its squad for the 2026/27 Serie C championship.

The new signing is also already familiar with the group and several of the opponents the Rossoblù will face during the season. Last season, he also played against Torres itself in a Ravenna shirt.

For the Sassari club, this is therefore a signing focused above all on experience and reliability, with Corsinelli now tasked with quickly settling into the team’s system and competing for playing time on the right flank.

Following the latest transfer moves, the Rossoblù squad is continuing to take shape ahead of the first matches of the new championship.
