The Dinamo Sassari also fall at Ruvo di Puglia. At the PalaColombo on Sunday, October 25, Crifo Wines beat Banco 79-63 in the sixth round of Serie A2 2026/27. For Luca Vitali’s Luca Vitali-coached Biancoblù, it is a second straight defeat after the 67-84 home loss to Rimini.
Sassari suffer their first away defeat of the season, after wins on the courts of Urania Milano and Mestre. Their record is back at .500: three wins and three losses, with six points in the standings.
Ruvo pull away in the second quarter
The first period ends 15-15, but the home side take control in the second. Dinamo struggle to find consistency on offense, and Ruvo build a lead of as many as 13 points.
Nze keeps Sassari in the game, while Pisano and Grande help cut the deficit. At halftime, the scoreboard reads 36-27: Banco have nine points to make up.
Grande brings Sassari closer, then Ruvo pull away again
Dinamo find a response in the third quarter. The efforts of Nze, Brooks and Michele Vitali, along with three-pointers from Alessandro Grande, bring the Biancoblù to within 48-43.
The comeback comes to an end, however. Ruvo extend their lead again and end the period ahead 57-43, forcing Sassari to begin the final quarter 14 points down.
Banco get back to within nine, but shots from beyond the arc by Chinellato and Bogliardi dash their hopes. Brooks’ three-pointer at the buzzer sets the final score at 79-63.
The response will have to wait: Caserta are next
The road trip was meant to provide a response to the defeat against Rimini. Ahead of the game, Vitali had identified offensive quality and energy as two areas for improvement; at the PalaColombo, however, Sassari finish with just 63 points.
Stefano Rajola’s team Stefano Rajola pick up a win after their previous 93-71 defeat at Mestre. Dinamo thus lose both games this week, having won their two previous games against Mestre and Cento.
The next game will once again be in front of the Sassari faithful: Sunday, November 1 at 6 p.m., at the PalaSerradimigni, Banco host Juvecaserta in the seventh round.
