The Chamber Council of the Sassari Chamber of Commerce has approved its 2026–2030 multi-year programme and presented its annual programme. The strategies set out the organisation’s priorities for supporting the productive system of northern Sardinia, with initiatives ranging from innovation to the promotion of local supply chains.
President Stefano Visconti, joined by Secretary General Pietro Esposito, presented the plan as a tool focused on measurable results, transparency and the promotion of expertise. As he explained, the aim is to make the Chamber of Commerce a point of reference for growth, innovation and sustainability in a changing economic landscape.
For digitalisation and innovation, the programme focuses on the services offered through the “La Camera del Futuro” project and the Business Register, described as a model of efficiency for public administration. It also provides for the expansion of I-LAB and PID, to support businesses in their technological transition and cybersecurity.
Internationalisation and tourism will build on existing initiatives such as Salude & Trigu and Mirabilia, as well as promoting the accessibility of the area by air and sea. Promocamera operates in this field, managing the exhibition centre and convention centre, organising training courses for businesses and overseeing internationalisation activities. The plan also includes initiatives by Assonautica Nord Sardegna to develop recreational boating and the maritime economy.
Another focus is sustainability and innovative finance: the actions outlined include promoting Renewable Energy Communities, the HUB4FIN centre, and tools to support businesses in crisis and the twin transition. The programme also focuses on local supply chains, supporting traditional agri-food products, rural districts, and GAL and FLAG organisations. The brands and events mentioned include Benvenuto Vermentino and Alguer Wine Week; the promotion of local products is also linked to initiatives for the Sassari Civic Market.
