The Metropolitan City of Sassari has issued a public notice to support the participation of Sardinian creative entities in the Lucca Comics & Games festival, scheduled between October 28 and November 1, 2026. The initiative aims to give visibility to the Island's cultural chain in one of the most prestigious international contexts for the comics and gaming industry.
The opportunity is aimed at micro, small and medium enterprises with a registered or operational office in Sardinia operating in the sectors of graphics, illustration, comics, graphic novels, animation, gaming and game art. Two companies will be selected, which will receive an all-inclusive contribution of up to 2 thousand euros, including VAT and charges, intended to cover the service provided and travel, food and accommodation expenses.
The call is part of the European project Ricco (Strengthening the Cultural and Creative Industry through Open Innovation). The objective of participation is not the mere commercial promotion of individual products, but the representation of the entire Sardinian creative ecosystem through the presentation of skills, prototypes and innovative projects.
Participation methods and activities
Selected companies will be able to operate in different areas of the festival: in the Fair area for the exhibition of prototypes and skills, in the Forum to participate in workshops and networking sessions with European partners, and in the Fest program for cultural and performative activities. Applications must be submitted online via the Metropolitan City's Online Request Portal by 23:59 on September 24, 2026.
