The State Police has scheduled speed checks on Sardinia’s roads through Sunday, November 8. In the Sassari area, checkpoints are planned for today, Thursday, November 5, on the 131 Dcn and State Road 291; on Sunday, they will be on the 131 Carlo Felice, in sections of the provinces of Sassari and Nuoro.
The weekly schedule also includes roads in the Nuoro, Cagliari and Oristano areas. Drivers can check the roads affected on each day and take the scheduled services into account when planning their journeys. The checkpoints will be on the island’s main extra-urban roads.
In northern Sardinia, in addition to the two checks planned today in the Sassari area, checks are scheduled on State Road 389 di Buddusò e del Correboi, in the Nuoro area. On Friday and Saturday, the checkpoints will move to the 131 Dcn in the Nuoro area, while Sunday’s schedule lists the Carlo Felice in the territories of Sassari and Nuoro. The full schedule is also available in the speed camera schedule.
The dates and roads listed for the coming days are as follows:
- Thursday, November 5: 131 Dcn and State Road 291 in the Sassari area; State Road 389 di Buddusò e del Correboi in the Nuoro area; State Road 125 Orientale Sarda in the Cagliari area.
- Friday, November 6: 131 Dcn in the Nuoro area and State Road 131 in the Oristano area.
- Saturday, November 7: 131 Dcn in the Nuoro area and 131 Carlo Felice in the Cagliari area.
- Sunday, November 8: 131 Carlo Felice in the provinces of Sassari and Nuoro; State Road 131 in the Oristano area.
For Sunday, therefore, the schedule covers several sections of the Carlo Felice in the north of the island, as well as State Road 131 in the Oristano area. The roads listed are part of the State Police’s schedule of checks, separate from the speed laser services organised by Sassari Local Police on city roads.
Motorists using the roads concerned can refer to the day and province listed in the schedule, while staying alert behind the wheel and observing speed limits. For journeys between Sassari, Nuoro and the other towns concerned, the schedule identifies the sections where checkpoints are planned during the week.
