The Torres return to the Vanni Sanna aiming to respond after the difficult trip to Grosseto. On Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. the Rossoblù will face Ostiamare on Matchday 4 of Serie C Group B.

Alfonso Greco's side go into the fixture with three points earned in the first three matchdays: the 2-1 defeat against Livorno was followed by a 1-0 home win over Sambenedettese, before the 2-0 defeat suffered in Grosseto.

That latest performance in particular offered few positives, with Greco speaking of the need to find immediate answers.

Ostiamare head to Sassari after their first win

The standings pit two teams level on three points.

Ostiamare began their league campaign with two defeats, against Perugia and Grosseto, but in the last round they secured their first win of the season by beating Vis Pesaro 2-1 away.

The team from Lazio came from behind thanks to goals from Filippo Carbone and Riccardo Tonin, thereby gaining confidence ahead of their trip to Sardinia.

Torres will therefore need to be alert against a newly promoted side arriving at the Vanni Sanna with its enthusiasm restored.

Greco faces his past

The match will also have a special significance for Alfonso Greco.

The Rossoblù coach is from Ostia and managed Ostiamare from 2016 to 2019, recording 113 appearances on the Biancoviola bench.

Torres and Ostiamare have already faced each other several times in the amateur leagues, but Sunday's match will be historic: for the first time, the two clubs will meet in professional football.

For Torres, the fixture comes at the start of a particularly intense week. After Ostiamare, the Rossoblù will remain at the Vanni Sanna to face Pianese on Wednesday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the first midweek round of the season.
