Zabile is a new digital project made in Sassari designed to help businesses and professionals understand where artificial intelligence can simplify their daily work. The idea comes from Andrea Pinna, a Sassari-born professional born in 1980, with extensive experience in marketing, organisation and process analysis for small businesses.
From everyday problems to a free analysis
The starting point is not choosing which AI tool to use, but identifying the activities that take up the most time. Emails, appointments, quotes, documents, data entry and recurring requests are some of the areas considered by the service. Users simply describe how they work and what difficulties they encounter, without needing to know technical terms or how artificial intelligence works.
Zabile guides users with one question at a time, reconstructs their work processes and prepares an initial personalised report. The analysis is available free of charge, with no registration required to get started, and highlights activities that could be simplified or automated, providing indicative estimates of the time and resources that could potentially be saved.
The goal: free up time, not replace people
The project’s philosophy is to use technology to reduce repetitive work, leaving people to focus on higher-value activities. This allows a craftsperson to concentrate on their trade, a professional on their clients and an entrepreneur on decision-making. “Artificial intelligence should give people back time and value, not replace them,” Pinna explains.
The name Zabile evokes the term “automatable” and the idea of making operations that are repeated every day simpler. The service is already online and initially targets businesses in Sardinia, with the goal of later expanding to the rest of Italy. The focus is particularly on the network of small businesses, in a regional context marked by changes and difficulties in the retail sector.
Experience gained in small businesses
Before developing Zabile, Pinna worked in the commercial sector and explored marketing and the analysis of organisational problems that slow down smaller companies. In 2022, he began working with generative artificial intelligence and studied its applications in micro and small businesses. He also created TravelBot, a project focused on tourism—an experience that allowed him to engage with both the opportunities and the reservations surrounding the introduction of AI into business processes.
As part of the preparatory work for Zabile, he also mapped more than 600 Sardinian businesses. This is not a statistical survey, but a tool for understanding the variety of activities found on the island and identifying the sectors in which an analysis and automation service could be most useful.
